If you’re looking for something lighter to beat that mid-afternoon slump, then The Great British Restaurant’s Afternoon Chat promotion is bound to hit the spot. Order a cup of coffee or tea and a selected dessert for just AED 55 and while away an hour or two in sweet serenity. Available daily from 1pm to 5pm. Alternatively, if you’re in a rush, there are several appealing Grab & Go options, including a coffee and two pastries (AED 25), smoothies and juices (AED 20), salads (AED 35) and sandwiches (AED 40).
As the restaurant transitions from day to night, enjoy a sundowner on the terrace or kick-start your evening with a selection of exciting beverage promotions. A daily happy hour runs from 1pm to 5pm with selected beverages from AED 35. Alternatively, you can indulge in two glasses of house grape or two pints of selected hops for AED 50, from 7pm to 10:30pm each day.
With a lively roster of daily theme nights, The Great British Restaurant offers something for every night of the week. Sundays are dedicated to British favourites, Mondays to Italian classics and Tuesdays feature Asian specialities. Wednesday offers a lavish International dinner buffet, while Thursdays are Mediterranean, Fridays are Russian, and Saturdays are all about Arabic cuisine. Whichever you pick, you won’t be disappointed with a plethora of dishes accompanied by friendly and efficient service. Dinner buffets run from 7pm to 10:30pm. AED 120 per person (food only). Kids aged six to twelve years receive a 50% discount and children below five years dine for free.
The hotel’s signature restaurant is Khyber which brings intricate and rich North Indian flavours to Dubai and is the first location outside of the flagship in Mumbai. The new summer set menu is curated by Chef Faizan and includes one starter, one main course and one dessert from a selection including Murgh Tikka Abeer, Makai Ki Tikki and Samosa Chaat to start.
For the main course, you can opt for either a classic Chicken Tikka Masala, Rogan Josh Lamb, Palak Paneer, Kadai Vegetable or Dal Dhaba served with delicious Jeera Rice and piping hot Naan bread or Roti.
The meal culminates with the choice of Gulab Jamun in thick syrup or Rabri, a condensed milk-based dish mixed with jaggery and nuts. Accompanied by picturesque views across Palm Jumeriah, Khyber offers a memorable meal.
The new summer set menu at Khyber provides diners with excellent value for money and is available daily from 5pm to 11pm. AED 120 (set menu), plus the option to upgrade to two hours of soft beverages for an additional AED 50 or house beverages for an additional AED 120.
