FACT First Look: MURA Italian Restaurant

An Amalfi Coast inspired dining experience is coming to The Pointe.

The Pointe on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah has become a lifestyle destination in its own right, featuring a plethora of dining and retail options overlooking the world’s largest fountain.

MURA Italian Restaurant is the latest dining destination to open at the waterfront destination, offering authentic Italian cuisine and oceanfront vistas that will transport you from Dubai to the heart of Italy’s Amalfi coast.

MURA The Pointe

Dine beneath lemon trees in what is sure to be one of Dubai’s most romantic destinations and watch the sunset over Atlantis and the waters of the Arabian Gulf. As night falls, guests will be able to enjoy ‘dinner and a show’ with traditional Tarantella dances performed throughout the evening.

MURA’s eclectic menu features seasonal Amalfitana specialities, fresh seafood and an enviable cocktail list. Expect seabass carpaccio, sliced amberjack, tuna tartare and a mammoth Crudo tower from the raw bar. The choice of antipasti includes burrata, fritto MURA, grilled octopus and half poached lobster, while an extensive caviar and oyster selection adds a touch of decadence to the dining experience.

Pasta, pizza and risotto offer some intriguing flavour combinations such as homemade ravioli stuffed with codfish, burrata and Datterino tomatoes, risotto with wild mushrooms and black truffle, and pizza topped with generous amounts of anchovies, tomato and oregano. Dishes designed for sharing include a 1KG salted seabass which we are sure will be a sensory treat.

MURA The Pointe

Split across two distinct levels, MURA’s ground floor features a VIP dining room and an elegant lemon tree inspire enclave that would be ideal for a wedding reception or function.

The first floor is home to the main dining room. Where fresh seafood is laid out on glistening beds of ice and patterned tiles graciously line the floors. Mirrored walls enlarge a space filled with trees and vegetation that provides the impression of dining within a fragrant lemon grove. However, the highlight of the venue is the expansive alfresco terrace with views of The Palm Fountain, illuminated by over 3,000 LED lights and reaching heights of 105-meters.
