The award-winning restaurant returns to Dubai’s dining scene in April.
We love a comeback story at FACT. So, we are excited to hear that Okku is returning to Dubai’s dining scene. The restaurant is scheduled to make its return on Palm Jumeirah, and here’s what you can expect.
Okku is set to launch at the end of April, and will serve its signature Japanese cuisine in a sophisticated setting. If the previous Okku Dubai menu is anything to go by, guests can expect standout sushi, sashimi and salads. The signature dishes include a BBQ Chicken, Crispy California, O Style Ginger Salmon Sashimi and Truffle Chahan Rice.
The original Okku Dubai was a homegrown restaurant, which was open for ten years. The restaurant was located in H Hotel at One Sheikh Zayed Road, and closed in 2018. Today, the brand can also be found in Riyadh. Okku opened in Olaya in 2019 and has already caused a stir in Saudi Arabia.
Loved by celebrities and critics, the Okku brand has won multiple awards and garnered plenty of fans. A-listers who have visited the restaurants across the world include Anna Wintour, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Clooney and Madonna.
The new Okku Dubai is currently on the lookout for a new team, and is hiring bartenders, chefs, hosts, managers, receptionists and waiters. Welcome back, Okku.
