Chef Rafael Zafra’s Ibiza restaurant will make its debut in the region.

Dubai is home to a range of restaurants, from Michelin-starred venues to celebrity chefs. Now, 111 Management is bringing a new concept to the city. Jondal Dubai can already be found in Ibiza, Spain, and the restaurant specialises in seafood.

Chef Rafael Zafra is at the helm of the restaurant. He was born in Seville and first started working in restaurants when he was 16 years old. Over his career, he went from working at his family restaurant to the world-famous El Bulli. He is behind critically-acclaimed restaurants in Span, which include Estimar in Barcelona and Jondal in Ibiza.

Jondal Dubai

Jondal is located at Cala Jondal and boasts a beach as well as sea views. The restaurant has featured on the MICHELIN Guide and World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Plus, the menu showcases Rafael’s passion for seafood.

Jondal in Ibiza’s menu is divided up into from the sea, specials from the sea, caviar specials, meat and sides. Specials include Mediterranean Sea Cucumber with noisette, Sting Raw with pickles and fresh herbs, and Whole Octopus A La Gallega. Meats include Cured Rubia Gallega, Grilled Suckling Lamb Chops, and Wagyu Carpaccio with foie and parmesan. Sides include Piquillo Peppers in garlic, Pickled and Roasted Leek in sauce, and White Asparagus with lemon mayonnaise.

111 Management is also bringing the concepts Crazy Horse and Le Majlis to Dubai. The company’s portfolio includes Kaspia, Beefbar, Le Petit Beefbar, L’Atelier Robuchon, and Terra Solis by Tomorrowland.
