La Ville Hotel and Suites, CITY WALK Dubai, have curated an exciting new experience to be enjoyed with family and friends.
With the cooler climate marking the arrival of al fresco dining season, the chic boutique hotel in the heart of City Walk have announced the return of its popular Grapeskin Fest. Taking place across the vibey and cosy Grapeskin Grape Bar & Kitchen, the homegrown grape festival will feature over 50 varieties of international grapes, artisan cheese and fantastic live entertainment.
Whether you are a grape connoisseur or just looking for a fun evening out with friends, Grapeskin’s rustic terrace and atmospheric courtyard will play host to a selection of grapes from across the globe. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, and will include a “blind tasting” station where guests will walk away with their glass for free, should they manage to guess the grape they are drinking correctly.
The unpretentious venue on the ground floor of La Ville Hotel and Suites offers a trendy neighbourhood grape bar and kitchen where charcuterie, tarte flambée and raclette combine with top beverages and live music from Martin Go and Jay Abo. The Grapeskin Fest will occur on 22 October, 26 November and 17 December, from 4pm to 10pm. With prices starting from AED 40 per glass.
Grapeskin will also celebrate PINKTOBER this month, joining forces with Al Jalila Foundation to raise local breast cancer research awareness with a pink-themed ladies night. Throughout the evening, ladies can enjoy three glasses of grape and a complimentary cheese platter, with all profits going to Al Jalila Foundation. Every Sunday in October, from 7pm to 11pm. AED 100 per person.
Embark on a wine and cheese discovery each day and enjoy a selection of cheese that includes Camembert, Gruyère and Brie, paired with your chosen grape. Available daily, from 4pm to 12.30am. AED 85 (three 50ml grapes paired with three varieties of cheese), AED 180 (three 125ml grapes paired with three kinds of cheese), and AED 225 (three 185ml grapes paired with three types of cheese).
Mondays call for mussels, and diners at Grapeskin can indulge in a pot of freshly steamed mussels served with Marinière cream sauce and a fresh baguette to soak up the delicious delicacy. Available Mondays, from 4pm to 12.30am. AED 99 (a pot of mussels) and AED 195 (a pot of mussels and a bottle of grape).
Finally, a discreet daily happy hour runs from 4pm to 8pm, offering the ideal spot for after-work drinks and catch-ups with friends. AED 30 per beverage or AED 120 per bottle.
