Jumeirah Group are opening a Parisian jazz bar and farm-to-table BBQ pop-up

Jumeirah Group has revealed that it will significantly expand its culinary offering with 13 new and re-imagined concepts opening over the next three months.

Transforming its coastline into a vibrant culinary hotspot, the new and enhanced dining experiences from Jumeirah Group will cater to all tastes and occasions, from a Parisian jazz bar to an innovative farm-to-table BBQ pop-up, a luxe cocktail bar, and a modern brasserie and grill.

The first new concept to open will be Bastion, a modern brasserie and grill that will take the place of La Parilla at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Located on the 25th floor, it will serve simple yet refined fare accompanied by picturesque views of the Arabian Gulf and the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. There will also be a new casual luxe cocktail bar, Floor 24, with nautical interiors that pay homage to the hotel’s ocean-inspired architecture.

Situated in the heart of Souk Madinat Jumeirah will be a pop-up collaboration with the world’s first Arab pitmaster and renowned Dubai culinary pioneer, Hattem Mattar.

At Jumeirah Al Qasr, a new Parisian concept Bar Buci will launch with a jazz vibe and re-envisioned classic cocktails. Mediterranean concept French Riviera will extend to include La Plage, a beautiful deck on the beach. A new iteration of Al Nafoorah will also open, and The Hide will feature an improved offer and a fresh new vintage look.

Jumeirah Mina A’Salam will reopen two of its restaurants with a fresh new look and feel. Zheng He’s reimagined will celebrate the best of traditional Chinese flavours, complete with tableside preparation and an authentic selection of handcrafted dim sum. Alfresco venue Shimmers returns with an extended deck to cater for its growing popularity. Diners can also discover Bahri, an exotic cocktail lounge inspired by the enduring romance of the silk route with decadent interiors and spice-laden menus.

Premium pan-Asian restaurant Junsui at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah will also return with fresh interiors. At the same time, the nightlife venue Gold on 27 will get a new name and transform into a beverage apothecary headed by acclaimed mixologists. Finally, Al Mahara, set against the backdrop of the mesmerising floor-to-ceiling tropical reef aquarium, will also be reinvented as a decadent ‘fish club’ featuring best-in-class seafood and mixology.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of a series of successful launches over the last 18 months, including chic mirrored restaurant and beach club SAL. Shimmers and Kayto – two of Jumeirah Group’s most popular signature dining experiences – will make their international debut at Jumeirah Maldives, an all-villa resort that opens its doors on 1 October.
