Let’s braai is available every Thursday from September 17.
Located on Abu Dhabi’s premier golf course, The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa is not only an oasis of calm in close proximity to the city but a food and beverage hub set amidst beautiful surroundings.
Launching on September 17 at Fairways will be the new Let’s Braai theme night, which invites all food lovers to experience a unique Thursday evening out with South African delicacies, a wide range of beverages and ambient background music.
For those in the know, a braai is South African terminology that literally means to grill or roast meat over an open fire. At Fairways we can expect a veritable meat feast accompanied by a buffet of South African specialities and beverages.
Traditional South African dishes on the menu are set to include Boerewors sausages, chicken skewers, tenderloin beef sliders, striploin steak, grilled portobello mushrooms and homemade potato wedges. While for those looking to try something a little different, the Braaibroodjie is essentially a grilled cheese sandwich, Bobotie is a spiced minced beef dish topped with cheese, and Koeksisters are a traditional Afrikaner confectionery made of fried dough infused in syrup.
Complemented by a range of unlimited beverages including South African favourites, Let’s Braai is available every Thursday (starting September 17) from 7pm to 10pm. AED 175 (soft beverages) and AED 275 (house beverages).
