Bringing the Mayabay experience from Monaco to Dubai…
Recognised for providing unique dining experiences, Orange Hospitality has announced the opening of Mayabay Dubai at Jumeirah Al Naseem’s turtle lagoon.
Originating in Monaco, Mayabay is an acclaimed Japanese-Thai restaurant by Maya Collection, one of the most prominent hospitality groups in Monaco boasting a portfolio of restaurants and hotels that includes Maya Jah, Maya Mia, Maya Altitude and Refuge de la Traye.
Maya Collection’s President, Jean Victor Pastor, says: “We are delighted to have begun our first ever franchise with Orange Hospitality, a group that shares our passion for providing the utmost service. For 15 years, Mayabay Monaco has been adopted by the residents and often seen as a home from home dining experience, quickly becoming a hot spot for Monaco’s High Society. It’s time to share that passion with Dubai.”
Mayabay Dubai will feature an extensive menu of specialities rooted in traditional Asian cuisine from caviar dim sums, Thai Sashimi De Boeuf Wagyu (pan-seared Wagyu beef sashimi), Yam Ped Tap Tim (duck salad with pomegranate), Larmes du Tigre (French sirloin) and signature classic pulled Maya Crispy Duck.
Mayabay Dubai’s will launch concurrently with Expo 2020 Dubai, taking inspiration from the exhibition’s environmental concept. The restaurant features a sophisticated dining setting adorned with natural wooden panels, stones, and expansive glass windows offering picturesque views of the Burj Al Arab.
Omar Saideh, Founder of Orange Hospitality, says: “We are thrilled to start this exciting new collaboration with Maya Collection and bring the Mayabay experience from Monaco to Dubai. We are working to create a unique dining experience; bringing to life a harmonious blend of Thai and Japanese cuisine in the heart of Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel.”
Mayabay Dubai is set to impress Dubai’s lively dining scene through an elevated Asian menu and bespoke interiors. The restaurant will be Orange Hospitality’s sixth restaurant, following Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, Alici, and the soon-to-open Josette.
