Whip up gourmet dishes with a selection of easy-to-cook recipe boxes.
Nick Alvis and Scott Price worked for Gordon Ramsay for fifteen years in London, Paris, and Dubai, before leaving to launch their own restaurant in 2011. They worked together to create the Taste Kitchen brand and then in 2016 opened folly by Nick & Scott. While the restaurant is located amongst the picturesque waterways of Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah, diners in the capital now have the opportunity to enjoy the folly’s informal take on modern dining, albeit with a twist.
As part of their ongoing #AskNickandScott series, the award-winning chefs have created four new recipe boxes which can be delivered to Abu Dhabi, available to order from Thursday 2nd July 2020.
Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and serving two adults, each box comes with pre-weighed ingredients, a step-by-step recipe card and a QR code which links through to ‘how-to’ video content. All you budding home chefs are strongly encouraged to watch this content in advance of cooking the meal.
Meals for the month include roasted rib eye of beef with red cabbage and whole grain mustard slaw (2nd July), paprika marinated salmon with a summer salad and sour cream (9th July) or poached and roasted breast of chicken with crushed new potatoes and a thyme beurre blanc (16th July). Each box also includes folly’s popular rosemary focaccia bread and olive oil.
People who order the recipe boxes are encouraged to have a little extra fun and upload their finished dish to Instagram and tag @follydubai and @NickAndScott. The dynamic duo will then select a weekly winner who will receive the following week’s recipe box for free.
