Piatti by the Beach has opened on Palm Jumeriah

Is the Amalfi Coast on your bucket list?

The jaw-dropping beauty of the Amalfi Coast is no secret, but it isn’t exactly a hop, skip, and jump away from us – until now. Because emulating this Mediterranean paradise is Piatti by the Beach, which has officially opened in Dubai. Located in Raffles The Palm Dubai, the restaurant is a joint venture between Bulldozer and Accor Group. Here, guests will be instantly engulfed by the unmistakable charm of Positano, the picturesque cliffside village that inspired its aesthetic – a whitewashed palette accented with pulsating bursts of colour and cascading bougainvillea.

Piatti by the Beach

A visit to Piatti by the Beach will take guests on a majestic journey of discovery, courtesy of mouth-watering food and drinks, enchanting views across the glistening water and a sophisticated yet high-energy vibe. Open for lunch and dinner, the beachside restaurant spills out onto a sprawling terrace that will prove a delightful vantage point to drink in ocean and beach views. Chef Batuhan Piatti has taken the culinary reins, having created a delectable menu of Mediterranean delights.

Piatti by the Beach

This well-known chef has not only taken the helm at a myriad of phenomenal restaurants regionally and globally, but also starred in his own TV show Hayat Batuhan’a Güzel (Life is Beautiful for Batuhan) and was one of the first judges on Turkish MasterChef. Chef Batuhan says, “I have created a menu with freshness, taste and simplicity in mind. You will taste the quality in every delicious bite of our Mediterranean menu. At Piatti by the Beach, guests will experience wonderful culinary moments that will live long in their memories. As well as amazing food, our guests can expect both superior service and an unparalleled location.”

Diners can expect to begin their meal with starters like burrata with cherry tomatoes and sautéed Mediterranean mussels. We’re also told that the Insalata Amalfi with Mazara red prawns, Taggiasca olives, avocado and cherry tomatoes is a must-order. Elsewhere, an array of seafood – including spicy scallops, seared salmon, sea bass ceviche, king crab tacos and red king prawns – is also on offer.

An authentic Italian offering wouldn’t be complete without a hearty range of pasta and pizza, so Norcia Black Truffle Pizza and homemade Strozzapreti with veal ham and cream reside on the mains menu alongside the show-stopping salt-crusted sea bass created for at least two to share. As for those with a sweet tooth? Two words: Temptation Room. That’s right – an entire room dedicated to hand-crafted cakes, tarts and other desserts awaits at Piatti by the Beach. Clearly, the road to the Amalfi Coast ends here.
