Pickl has opened an outpost in the capital

Abu Dhabi’s prayers have (finally) been answered.

It’s been over two years of begging, pleading and praying, but the day is finally here – Abu Dhabi now has its very own outpost of Pickl. Located at Soul Beach, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, the new branch of this beloved burger joint will be the first to offer creamy goodness in the form of soft serve, with two simple flavours and two sizes on offer.

Pickl aficionados can choose between chocolate, vanilla or a mix of both, and opt for either a small size for AED 12 or go big for AED 20. The outlet is now welcoming guests with its much-loved menu, including limited-edition specials like the Big Bad John and Buffalo Sando, alongside a dedicated section of Pickl apparel and accessories ranging from T-shirts and hats to bags and skate decks. But there’s so much more to celebrate than this much-anticipated opening.

With both National Day and the festive season on the horizon, December is going to be one delicious month at Pickl. For starters, both Dubai and Abu Dhabi residents can enjoy a free ice cream sando with all dine-in orders come 2 December. The dessert comes in three delicious flavours – vanilla & salted caramel, double chocolate, and strawberry cheesecake – and, yes, you get to choose. For those who have yet to try Pickl’s delectable ice cream sando, you can expect a generous scoop of your chosen flavour sandwiched perfectly between two toasted potato buns (not forgetting the decadent sauce that rounds things off). The bad news? This offer doesn’t apply to the Time Out Market outlet.

But back to the good news. The return of the festive season is bringing with it the return of Pickl’s festive sando, aptly entitled Ahhh Bisto Bird 3.0. You know how those lip-smacking sandwiches made with leftover Christmas stuffing à la “the moist maker” make everything better? Well, Pickl is taking that to another level, essentially packaging your favourite Christmas dinner into a potato bun.

Featuring the classic smashed beef patty, the Ahhh Bisto Bird 3.0 is stuffed with smoked roasted turkey slices, cranberry jam and parsnip ranch, adorned with a fried Paxo ball, and generously drizzled with Bisto gravy. Available from 5 December until the end of the year, this festive treat can only be ordered for dine-in at all Pickl outlets for AED 75 – the newest branch in Abu Dhabi included.
