Acclaimed Indian restaurant Punjab Grill is opening at The Oberoi, Dubai
The second Middle Eastern location for the popular Indian concept is on its way.
Residents in the capital will likely already be aware of Punjab Grill, the fine dining Indian restaurant in Venetian Village. But now, Dubai residents can rejoice as a second Middle Eastern outpost of the acclaimed concept will be opening in Dubai this year.
Punjab Grill’s new flagship restaurant is expected to open at The Oberoi, Dubai, in quarter two of this year. The latest opening for the brand will offer the intimate gourmet experience that Punjab Grill is renowned for, alongside a unique menu of modern Indian cuisine.
Ideally located in Dubai’s Downtown district, Punjab Grill Dubai will offer views over the Oberoi Courtyard. Executive Chef Sandeep Ail will lead the restaurant’s culinary team with a menu involving flavourful curries, kebabs, and classic Indian desserts with an exciting gastronomic twist. The much-loved restaurant, celebrated for bringing alive the truly authentic flavours of India, has been recognised by the Michelin Guide in Bangkok and Singapore.
Chairman Amit Burman said: “We have had a huge success with our award winning first restaurant here in the UAE since it launched in 2015, at The Ritz Carlton Grand Canal, Abu Dhabi, and felt it was the right time to bring the concept to Dubai. We are very excited to begin this important strategic relationship with The Oberoi Dubai, as we expand across the UAE and GCC region.
