À la minute experiential dining at Abu Dhabi’s new Raclette Brasserie & Café

Blending beachfront and jungle into one striking venue.

Following the successful opening of Soul Beach on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island last year, the beachfront promenade at Mamsha Al Saadiyat has become home to several exciting food and beverage concepts.

The latest addition to Saadiyat’s sandy shores is Raclette Brasserie & Café, a tropical brasserie that effortlessly blends beachfront and jungle into one striking venue. Raclette comes to us from MBT Restaurant Management, the team behind Dubai’s Grand Beirut, and Beirut Sur Mer, a popular Lebanese restaurant located a stone’s throw from Raclette.

Raclette Brasserie & Café invites guests to sit back and relax while enjoying the best of France, including the cheesy favourite from which the restaurant is named and a dish that has been melting hearts and appetites for centuries. Open all day, Raclette is the ideal spot for early risers with an array of delicious breakfast offerings or a drink and snack after work.

The décor features a warm and exotic look, covered with bright wood and tropical art. A centralised bar provides a seamless experience where the drinks effortlessly compliment the food, including a fluffy banana pudding macaron plated on an artist’s palette, cold seafood towers, beef tartare and burrata.

“What makes the food concept so special is that it is a true depiction of Raclette’s origin story, which is more than just a cheese dish. It is a cultural landmark, a dining experience, and a great time. That is exactly what the new brasserie will be offering its visitors, a-la minute experiential casual dining with innovative food interpretations that will keep people coming back for more surprises. The menu will always be curated based on the season with dishes ranging from raclette scrapped burgers to escargot provençale, steak tartare and live shows featuring bistro favourites such as crepe Suzette by the table; all alongside versatile drink pairings and a selection of wines, cocktails and spirits will satisfy everyone’s pallets” Danny Kattar – General Manager at MBT Restaurant Management.
