The Mediterranean menu includes mouth-watering pizzas and pastas.

We love a beachside restaurant at FACT, and the new Ría in Club Vista Mare has got our hearts aflutter. So, we were excited to be one of the first media outlets to visit the venue, which officially opens on Friday, 10 March. Here’s what you need to know about the new beachfront haven.

Ría in Club Vista Mare is located in the spot formerly known as Breeze Beach Grill. Since the start of the year, the company’s Instagram account has been teasing us with serene shots of the beach. Now, we have finally visited and can confirm that the beach chic vibes are real.

Inside, guests will be treated to a sophisticated, serene space with gorgeous green foliage. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of light, and the beach-inspired design helps set the mood. Lookout for the seashell designs, from the cream and orange seashell feature wall to the seashell motifs on the bar. Plus, the long wooden tables and plush sofas are great for groups.

Ría aims to create an upscale, yet relaxed dining experience. The Mediterranean menu draws its inspiration from nature and the sea. Fittingly, the name Ría comes the from Spanish word for small river and is similar to the rías that flow through the branches of Palm Jumeirah.

On the menu, you’ll find nibbles, salads, hot starters, pastas, pizzas and grills. The salads range from Blueberry and Feta Salad to Shrimp Oliver Salad. The hot starters include Crab Cakes, Grilled Chorizo, Lobster Roll and Potato and Beef Ragout Croquette.

The mains include Grilled Tenderloin, Grilled Yellowtail, Grilled Tenderloin, Pastrami Striploin and Whole Roasted Turbot. The fish counter boasts catches of the day, which are served fried, grilled and raw. The maki and raw menu dishes range from California Maki to Sea Bream Ceviche. Plus, there is a dedicated kid’s menu.

Thanks to its beachside setting, DJ sets and indoor as well as outdoor dining, it’s a sand-beneath-the-toes sundowner spot. Bonus: pets are welcome, too.

The venue boasts brilliant views of the Dubai skyline, which includes the iconic Burj Al Arab. So, sip your way through the drinks – visit the dedicated smoothie bar or order one of the 15 signature cocktails. The cocktails include an Amaretto Sour, Aperol Spritz, Bellini and Manhattan.
