The Danish concept has debuted two new outlets, with one more to follow shortly.
The cool kids of Dubai can now hydrate in style, courtesy of Joe & The Juice arriving with a bang. The Copenhagen-born concept has launched not one, but two outlets – and a third is expected to debut shortly. The 154-cover flagship store at d3 has an indoor seating area and an outdoor terrace with views overlooking Burj Khalifa, while the second outpost has taken up residence at Mall of the Emirates. Galleria Mall in Al Barsha, meanwhile, will welcome the third location on 27 September.
For the uninitiated, Joe & The Juice is famed for its freshly prepared coffee, shakes, juices and sandwiches, and boasts a cult following of urban trendsetters and creative thinkers. A rapidly expanding F&B concept with a strong focus on sustainability, it currently operates in more than 300 locations across 16 countries – Iceland, the UK, and the USA included. Veda Inc and its subsidiary, Lavoya, have ambitious plans to roll out a total of 10 stores across the UAE in its first two years of operations, with the aim of opening 50 over the course of the next decade.
Joe & The Juice is known to create an inclusive culture and a strong sense of community, which will reflect through the interior design of its UAE stores, replicating the brand’s classic lifestyle concept that exudes a vibrant, uplifting environment encouraging customers to meet, eat, and enjoy life. The expansive menu includes a full range of healthy food and juice options that are always made to order – never pre-packaged – and reflect a commitment to high-quality ingredients. Signature shakes include the Power Shake (made with strawberry, banana, and vanilla milk) and vegan Blue Magic (made with blue spirulina, avocado, protein, dates, lemon, and oat-coconut).
Joe & The Juice is known to dominate the juice market, and rightly so. The menu has more than 14 options of wholesome juices, including global favourites such as Joe’s Green Mile (made with broccoli, spinach, avocado, lemon, and apple) and Go Away Doc (made with carrot, ginger, and apple). Menu highlights include salad bowls, breakfast bowls, plant-based options, and a variety of sandwiches. The signature Joe’s Club features chicken, avocado and vegan pesto, while the Spicy Tuna is made with tuna mousse, jalapenos and vegan pesto. Additionally, vegan options such as the Green Bowl also await.
Those who need a caffeine kick can choose from an extensive range of hot and cold drinks, with premium blends and coffee beans sourced from Uganda and Guatemala. Crowd favourites include the Joe’s Iced Vanilla Latte and Iced Matcha Latte, both perfect for a hot summer’s day. A first for the brand, Joe & The Juice will have an in-store retail section in addition to a dedicated section on the website, where customers can purchase its popular branded merchandise including reusable cups, coffee capsules, and coffee beans. Incidentally, the brand uses recycled material for its straws, bags and napkins, and is committed to a Food Waste Score of only two percent.
