Tulum-style dining has arrived in Dubai
Eva Beach House will open at Palm West Beach this week.
In a case of culinary déjà vu, the line-up of restaurants at Palm West Beach on Palm Jumeirah continues to grow, catering to just about every occasion and palate possible. Case in point: Eva Beach House, which makes its debut this week. A beachside destination furnished with trendy décor, it blends the bliss of Tulum-style seaside dining with an artisanal culinary experience, all awaiting in a laidback atmosphere.
The aesthetics of this new venue feature airy and draped elements in shades of clotted cream and earthy brown, complemented by wooden accents and all manner of cacti, creating a spot of escape from the city’s frenzy. Bathed in natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, it also allows the breathtaking skyline views to steal the spotlight. A rich selection of the day’s catch, dry-aged meat, and a menu rooted in diversity promise a treat for the taste buds.
Starters, for example, include the likes of Carabinero Carpaccio, Fassona Beef Tartar, and Escargot. Over in the mains, we’re told to expect an enticing selection of farmed fish and Mediterranean seafood alongside pizza (Truffle and Mushroom Pizza) and pasta (Veal Tortelli) made in-house. Catering to carnivores, the array of meat ranges from prime Australian Angus to Japanese Wagyu. As for diners who simply want a bite while catching some rays? The ‘Beach’ menu features some of Eva Beach House’s most popular dishes, including starters such as Beetroot Salad and Mix Fried Seafood Casserole.
And for the adventurous, the Pita Tacos with Octopus Ragout and Guacamole with Straciatella come highly recommended. Elsewhere, Asian dishes like Soft Shell Crab and Spicy Kuruma, burgers, and a vegan take on ceviche means there’s something for everyone. Come beverages, Eva Beach House offers distinctive signature cocktails like Eaux de Vie, the Tulum Colada, and more. Shisha is also on the menu for those looking to linger. While most of the venue is devoted to high-energy dining, there’s also a beach and pool where guests may gather for refreshments or a leisurely weekend while enjoying the sunset against West Palm Beach views and a soundtrack of Tulum’s mystical – and always rhythmic – vibes.
