Why we’re dining at The Abu Dhabi EDITION this weekend

Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens returns to the capital this week.

While most 20-somethings are job-hopping and lacking direction, chef Tom Aikens was racking up not one, but two Michelin stars by the age of 26, making him the youngest chef to do so. Today, he’s at the helm of five restaurants worldwide, with three located right here in the UAE: Alba Terrace, Oak Room and Market at EDITION, each located at The Abu Dhabi EDITION. 

The good news here is that Aikens is set to return to the capital this weekend, highlighting the return of health-inspired eatery Market at EDITION as well as an innovative new season menu and the launch of Social Lunch at Mediterranean-style restaurant Alba Terrace. From 21-23 October, guests will be able to exclusively dine and meet with Aikens across three weekend experiences, or book the ultimate staycation package in the form of Tom Aikens Weekend. Ready, steady, feast!

Oak Room Dinner

The award-winning rock ‘n’ roll inspired restaurant invites guests for a four-course culinary occasion that will serve a set menu featuring the finest carvery cuts presented by chef Tom Aikens himself. Thursday 21 October, from 7pm. AED 495 (soft beverages) and AED 695 (grape pairing)

Oak Room Brunch

A spirited, three-hour culinary affair with chef Tom Aikens showcasing a seated menu of signature British dishes paired with interactive mixology, a robust beverage selection and premium bubbles. Friday 22 October, from 12:30pm to 5pm. AED 245 (soft beverages), AED 365 (house beverages) and AED 485 (bubbles).

The Weekend Spritz

A leisurely, Mediterranean-style afternoon with chef Tom Aikens at Alba Terrace. Expect classic dishes, new seasonal creations and warming delights from the wood-fired oven located poolside alongside the signature Aperol Spritz and a selection of Amalfi-esque cocktails. Saturday 23 October, from 12:30pm to 5pm.AED 215 (soft beverages), AED 325 (house beverages) and AED 445 (bubbles).

Tom Aikens Weekend

An ultimate weekend of dining and relaxation for two, complemented by a choice of exclusive culinary experience featuring chef Tom Aikens, complete with transcending marina skyline views and contemporary comfort. Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 October.
