You can now dine with Chef Massimo Bottura’s friends

A brand new tasting menu experience kicks off this week.

A night at Italian hotspot Torno Subito is always a good idea, but a meal with Chef Massimo Bottura’s comrades? Even better. Enter: Massimo’s Friends, a new and exclusive tasting menu experience that launches this week on 10 November. Taking place at W Dubai – The Palm, the first edition will feature a six-course menu curated by two culinary experts: Chef Bernardo Paladini (Torno Subito’s Chef de Cuisine and handpicked protégé of Massimo Bottura) and Chef Massimiliano Mascia (the creative talent behind San Domenico restaurant).

The pop-up will see the two masterminds step behind the stove and prepare an authentic, truly mouth-watering feast of signature dishes. For AED 549, you’ll start with Torno Subito’s Welcome from the Kitchen – Piadina bread, smoked eel, cacio e pepe sauce and pickled cabbage – followed by Cocktail Di Gamberi 2.0 with steamed red shrimps, cocktail foam, sea asparagus, lettuce, and black caviar. Next up? Polpo, or roasted Mediterranean octopus accented with celeriac purée and black cabbage.

The culinary journey continues with Uovo In Raviolo (a creamy ricotta and spinach ravioli dish with egg yolk and black truffle), Risotto Carciofi E Animelle (complete with artichoke and veal juice), and Guancia (a tender, slow-cooked veal cheek served with polenta, fossa cheese and balsamic sauce). Come dessert, we’re told that Sottobosco – a medley of pumpkin, mushrooms, truffles, chocolate and vanilla – will make for a sweet finish like no other. Massimo’s Friends is a must-do for the bona fide foodies out there.
