Curl up at this cosy cafe this winter season.

Saudi Arabia’s dining scene is thriving, and new concepts are popping up across the Kingdom. While Riyadh and Jeddah often steal the spotlight, the Eastern Province isn’t far behind. In recent months, Al Khobar, Dammam, and Ithra have seen everything from Jon & Vinny‘s to SALT Camp open, and now, Kuwait’s Lazy Cat has expanded across the Kingdom.

Located in Ajdan Walk, Lazy Cat finds itself in the excellent culinary company, sharing the neighbourhood with FACT award-winning Nozomi and Hellenika, as well as the soon-to-open Em Sherif Cafe. Lazy Cat’s chic blue aesthetic, consistent with its other branches, perfectly complements its waterfront surroundings.

Lazy Cat

Lazy Cat is all about comfort food. For breakfast lovers, it’s got the likes of egg-based dishes and baked specialities. Highlights include the Avocado Folded Bread, Burrata Caprese Folded Bread, and the Truffle and Spicy Honey Calzone. For lunch and dinner, pizza-inspired dishes like Nutella S’mores, Salami, and Truffle and Mushroom are on the menu, in addition to the ever-popular Pastrami Sandwich and The Lazy Burger.

But it’s Lazy Cat’s Fluffy and Happy dessert section that’s a must-try. With the likes of Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Crème Brûlée Japanese Pancakes, and Matcha Japanese Pancakes paired up with a Blue Matcha or the Tiramisu Latte, you’re in for a truly indulgent experience.

Lazy Cat originally hails from Kuwait and has been steadily expanding its reach. After a successful launch in Dubai last year, the brand ventured into Saudi Arabia with a pop-up in Riyadh that quickly became a permanent fixture in Laysen Valley. Now, the opening of Lazy Cat in Al Khobar marks yet another milestone.

With its cosy vibes, Instagram-worthy aesthetic, and comforting yet on-trend menu, this concept is set to become a firm favourite in the city’s growing dining scene.

Lazy Cat is ready to welcome you with open paws.
