Cocoa, cream, espresso and lady fingers – this sultry spot celebrates the dessert.
Tiramisu lovers, we have some news that will make you swoon. Norma in Al Khobar is an artisan tiramisu spot, which pays homage to the decadent dessert. So, if you can’t get enough of the coffee and cream concoction, here’s what you need to know.
Norma in Al Khobar celebrates the humble tiramisu. The menu even creates a (fictional) origin for the popular Italian dessert and shares how there was a woman called Norma Bailey in Tolmezzo, Italy. In the 1950s, she wanted to create a dessert, which would be delicate and beautiful.
In Italian, tiramisu means pick me up. If you need a lift, here are the options on the menu. The Classic Tiramisu, Caramel Pecan Tiramisu, Honeymoon Tiramisu, Matcha Tiramisu, Pistachio Tiramisu and Raffaello Tiramisu. All of the options are available in portions for one, and portions for sharing. Plus, if the tiramisu craving kicks in, they are available for delivery.
Norma in Al Khobar also serves a selection of hot and cold drinks. The hot drinks include an Americano, Cortado, Espresso, Latte and Spanish Latte. The cold drinks include an Iced Americano, Iced Coffee of the Day, Iced Latte and Iced Spanish Latte. Plus, there are options to have the drinks with vegan milk.
Norma in Al Khobar is a stylish spot. The venue boasts a sleek and sultry design with deep red hues, low lighting and pretty plants. On the wall, it declares: “Welcome to Norma, the house of artisan tiramisu where timeless tradition and innovative tastes intertwine”.
Norma in Al Khobar is open from 3pm to 2am.
