Located in Al Bahar, access to this spot is by registration only.
Saudi Arabia is upping its game. Riyadh, Jeddah, and Neom have been at the forefront of headlines, but the coastline city of Al Khobar isn’t one to shy away from creating a buzz either. It’s now home to Salt’s largest beachside destination with the arrival of Salt Al Bahar.
Located in Al Bahar, Khobar, Salt is turning up the heat for its 10th anniversary. This new spot is expected to redefine what it means to chill by the beach. Al Bahar in Al Khobar was a natural choice for Salt’s biggest project yet, which spans over 10,000 square metres of beautiful beachfront. It captures everything that the brand stands for — an accessible beachfront destination mixed with culture, style, and adventure.
But there’s a catch. First access to Salt Al Bahar will be by online registration only. All you need to do is log on to the website and make sure to book your spot. At the moment, it’s also offering winter season passes for SAR 100 per person, making it the perfect choice for the cooler weather.
For those unversed, SALT is best known for its ice cream and burgers. The brand began its journey in 2014 as a food truck in Dubai by two female entrepreneurs. Since then, Emirati Amal Al Marri and Saudi Deem AlBassam have grown the brand with several locations. In Saudi Arabia, it has various branches across Riyadh, followed by one each in Dammam and AlUla. Salt Al Bahar marks the brand’s second outpost in Khobar, apart from its existing joint in Olaya.
Details of when Salt Al Bahar will be officially open are still under wraps but expect plenty of surprises. So if you’re planning a fun day out with friends or looking for some solo rest and recreation, this spot promises chill vibes in a charming setting with an array of items to chow down on.
