A winter pop-up in Dhahran with a dash of culture.
When it comes to dining experiences, Saudi Arabia always has something new to try. This time around, Ithra is turning up the heat during the cooler season with Salt Camp.
Taking place for a limited time only, Salt Camp at Ithra is a must-visit spot in Dhahran. Happening at the location’s Lush Garden area, you’re in for a delicious meal and a great time with your loved ones.
Like its Dubai counterpart, Salt Camp at Ithra follows a “Full of Stars” theme. This pop-up features an exciting food menu curated by Chef David Lagonell, a seasoned London-based culinary artist with over 25 years of experience. With his expertise in barbecue, Chef David’s creations are designed to satisfy meat cravings.
The menu includes must-try dishes such as the Campfire Burger, the Tenderloin Steak, and the Cheeseburger Taco. For desserts, visit the Sugar Bar and indulge in the Milky Brownie or the Cookie Melt.
Salt started life as a food truck back in 2014. The business was launched by Emirati entrepreneur Amal Al Marri and Saudi entrepreneur Deem AlBassam. The company are famed for harnessing social media to create a buzz, and fans would have to find its next location online.
As for Ithra, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is a cultural hub that blends innovation, creativity, and immersive experiences into one. The venue is home to several exhibitions, performances and workshops and recently welcomed another pop-up from celeb-favourite Jon & Vinny’s.
Salt Camp at Ithra is open from Mondays to Saturdays, from 11am to 11pm. However, you can enjoy the weekend here until 1am on Thursdays. On Fridays, Salt Camp opens at 4pm and runs until 1am.
