The artists will perform at Maraya Concert Hall this month.
If you thought AlUla was all about breathtaking desert landscapes and ancient wonders, think again. This historic city also has plenty to offer on the musical front, it’s bringing two legendary icons as part of AlUla Moments 2024. Get ready to welcome Ludovico Einaudi and Matteo Bocelli to Maraya Concert Hall in AlUla.
Located in the Ashar Valley, Ludovico Einaudi and Matteo Bocelli will perform in the world’s latest mirrored building. This iconic structure is named after the Arabic word foe “mirror” or “reflection” and has hosted some of the biggest performances, from Alicia Keys and James Blunt to Lauryn Hill and Usher, and now, it promises to shine even brighter.
On 17 January, Ludovico Einaudi will take to the stage. The legendary Italian pianist and composer will wow audiences with his soulful melodies that have tugged heartstrings across the world. With a career spanning over 40 years, he has graced iconic stages like London’s Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, and his performance at Maraya in AlUla promises to be nothing short of extraordinary either.
And then on 24 January, Matteo Bocelli will bring his blend of pop and classical music to AlUla. Heir to the legendary Andrea Bocelli, this performance will mark Matteo Bocelli’s first performance in the Kingdom. With his hit Solo, he’s guaranteed to turn up the crowd in AlUla as well.
As for AlUla Moments, it has been a regular fixture in the city’s winter programs since 2022. The initiative has previously welcomed the likes of AZIMUTH, One Republic and Westlife — and the upcoming icons promise a breathtaking performance in the middle of the desert as well.
