The resort will be home to 76 villas, international restaurants, a fitness club and an art museum.

Saudi Arabia’s AlUla is home to some of the world’s most exciting hotel developments. Now, it has gotten even more exciting, thanks to the new eco-resort, AZULIK AlUla Resort. Scheduled to open in 2027, here’s what we know about the project.

Operated by the Mexican luxury brand AZULIK, AZULIK AlUla Resort will include 76 villas, international restaurants as well as cafés, luxury guesthouses, a fitness club, VIP club and an SFER IK art museum.

AZULIK AlUla Resort will be designed by Roth Architecture. If the firm’s innovative projects, which include AZULIK Siete Musas, Kin Toh and Villa Sian Ka’an, are anything to go by, we’re expecting amazing things. The resort draws its inspiration from AlUla’s natural surroundings, from the sand dunes to the undulating mountains.

AZULIK AlUla Resort

AZULIK AlUla Resort has also been designed in line with Sustainability Charter for AlUla, Saudi Green Initiative and Saudi Vision 2030. The aim is to connect people with the natural surroundings. Located in the Nabatean Horizon District, it will be near AlMutadil Equestrian Village and Wadi AlFann.

John Northen, RCU Vice President of Hotels and Resorts, said, “AZULIK AlUla is centred on the concept of sustainability and connection with the natural and human heritage surrounding this magnificent property. Along with its proximity to the AlMutadil Equestrian Village and Wadi AlFann, both under development, this resort is one of several assets contributing to AlUla’s growth as a leading destination in line with our Journey Through Time master plan.”
