Banyan Tree AlUla and Barry’s launch a fun fitness retreat

Running for a limited time, it includes classes, cooking and canyons.

Banyan Tree AlUla is flexing its muscles. The retreat is famous for its wellness experiences, which range from meditation to yoga. Now, it’s offerings a fantastic fitness experience, courtesy of the world-famous Barry’s.

Taking place from 26 to 29 September, the Banyan Tree AlUla and Barry’s experience includes a three-night stay in a Banyan Tree Villa and four workouts. Guests can enjoy Barry’s Fuel Bar’s signature shakes, evening sound healing sessions under the starry desert skies, morning yoga and stretching sessions, and a 60-minute spa treatment at the Banyan Tree Spa, nestled between the soaring tawny-hued rocks. Plus, all of the meals and airport transfers will be included, so all you have to think about is working up a sweat.

Barrys AlUla

Barry’s is famous for its HIIT classes, which challenge your limits and deliver results. The Banyan Tree AlUla and Barry’s experience includes workouts, which are hosted by the UAE’s popular instructors: Connor Moodie from Barry’s Dubai, and Drey Bezruk from Barry’s Abu Dhabi.

Barry’s has gyms around the world, from Spain to Singapore. Born in Los Angeles, it was launched in 1998 by celebrity trainer Barry Jay. The brand has A-list fans including Ellie Goulding, David Beckham and Guy Ritchie. Fun fact: they all once turned up to a class at the same time.

Barrys AlUla

This is the second time that Barry’s has teamed up with the resort in AlUla, and it may well be the gym’s most spectacular setting. Visitors will feel at one with nature, as the experience boasts views of the majestic Ashar Valley’s soaring rocks and rolling canyons.

Prices start at SAR 3,900 per person per night, for a minimum of three nights, with a minimum of two guests per room, in a Dune One-Bedroom Villa, or SAR 4,250 per person per night, for a minimum of three nights, with a minimum of two guests per room, in a Dune One-Bedroom Pool Villa.
