The performer brings his world tour to Jeddah and Riyadh.
Just when we thought we couldn’t get more excited by Rage on the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia has announced that a concert will be part of the event. Not only are there boxing matches galore, but now American rapper Russ will perform on 20 August.
Russ – real name Russell James Vitale – hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and is no stranger to Saudi Arabia. Russ previously performed at Riyadh Season, and is now bringing his world tour, The Journey is Everything, to Jeddah. Fans can expect the rapper to perform his hits including Losing Control, What They Want, Missin You Crazy and Are You Entertained.
If you can’t catch Russ at Rage on the Red Sea in Jeddah, he will be returning to Riyadh. Russ is coming to the capital’s Gamers8 festival on 18 August, and the line-up includes Jeed as well as Disco Misr.
Rage on the Red Sea is set to be a memorable sporting event. The event includes the much-anticipated rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. Plus, the kingdom is breaking new ground, as it will host its first-ever female boxing match. British Somali Ramla Ali will take on Dominican Republic’s Crystal Nova in an eight-round Super-Bantamweight contest.
Rage on the Red Sea has boxing matches aplenty, as more fights have been announced: Croatian Heavyweight Filip Hrgovic will challenge China’s Zhilei Zhang; and British Callum Smith will challenge French Mathieu Bauderlique in a Final Eliminator for the World Title.
Visitors can catch Russ at Rage on the Red Sea in the King Abdullah Sports City Arena, and ticket prices start from SAR 375. It looks set to be a knockout event.
