Saudi Arabia is becoming a hotspot for world-class music festivals. Techno Therapy is the latest music festival to come to the kingdom, as it brings together emerging and established local DJs to Riyadh.
Techno Therapy in Riyadh celebrates all things techno, from electro-pop to house music. The festival takes place on Friday, 9 September in the arts and culture hub, JAX District. Visitors can catch the concerts at the cool Diriyah Bienneale Foundation venue.
The festival is bringing it with its headline act, Nicole Moudaber. The Lebanese British DJ and producer will be filling the air with her techno beats. The line-up includes Saudi stars such as Cosmicat, Dish Dash, B-Hydra. Plus, Portuguese performer LJ; Lebanese performers DJ Ant as well as Moses B2B Don Edwardo; and the Jordanian DJ based in Saudi, Psykey.
Techno Therapy in Riyadh is more than just a music festival. During the event, there is lots of fun to be had. Guests can learn calligraphy, check out visual art exhibitions and visit a photobooth on wheels – yes, really. Plus, when you get hungry, there are plenty of street food stalls.
If this sounds like music to your ears, you’ll be excited to hear that MDLBeast Soundstorm is returning to Riyadh.
