The American pop rock band are bringing their Mercury World Tour to Riyadh Season.

Riyadh, are you ready? Imagine Dragons will bring their Mercury World Tour to the Saudi capital in early 2023. The tour celebrates the release of the band’s highly-anticipated double-disc album, Mercury — Acts 1 & 2, with a stop at Mrsool Park in celebration of Riyadh Season.

The Imagine Dragons Riyadh Season concert is happening on Sunday, 22 January 2023.

Over the last half-decade, Imagine Dragons have emerged as one of the biggest and most compelling rock bands in the world. Within a year of its June 2017 release, their third studio album EVOLVE went double-platinum, yielding three back-to-back #1 singles: “Believer,” “Thunder,” and “Whatever It Takes.” 

Imagine Dragons have paved the way for their new album with the release of several chart-topping singles, including Bones with 331 million streams to date and the global smash Enemy“, which has racked up 4.6 billion combined streams across two versions of the track.

The American pop rock band from Las Vegas, consists of lead singer Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.

Riyadh Season is part of Saudi Seasons, which includes Sharqiyah Season in March and Jeddah Season in June. Riyadh Season launched in 2019 and is the biggest festival of its kind in the Middle East. Now in its third edition, it has taken over the whole city with 15 dedicated zones. This year’s theme, ‘Beyond Imagination’ reflects its ambition to bring the best arts, culture and entertainment to the Saudi capital.

Saudi Arabia has seen plenty of global superstars take to the stage in recent months across Riyadh, Jeddah and AlUla, including Alicia Keys, John Legend, OneRepublic, Usher and Westlife. 

Imagine Dragons will follow their show in Riyadh with a performance at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
