The playful restaurant opens in Riyadh Boulevard on 1 December.

If the sound of Italian food gets your stomach rumbling, then you’ll be excited to hear about Limonata in Riyadh. Located on Riyadh Boulevard, the new Italian restaurant opens on 1 December and is packed with personality.

Limonata in Riyadh is a relaxed Italian restaurant, which boasts a fun-filled atmosphere. So far, all we know is that the menu will include generous, authentically-inspired Italian dishes. Plus, thanks to the sharing concept, long tables and sprawling sofas, it will be a great place to take friends and families.

At Limonata in Riyadh, the Mediterranean vibes are real and have been created in a polished yet playful way. The vibrantly coloured interiors combine yellow, teal and cream. We’re talking yellow sofas, stools and walls, and teal banquettes, vases and shutters. So far, so sprezzatura.

The Mediterranean-inspired design can be found across the space. We love the shutters used for decoration on the walls, and the intricately designed ceramic tiles on the bar. Plus, it has taken the lemon theme and squeezed it – there are lemon trees, lemon motifs on cushions, lemons on shelves and lemons hanging from the ceiling of the bar.

The bright, airy space includes floor to ceiling windows and indoor as well as outdoor seating. On the terrace, guests can admire the eye-catching fountain, which feels like a fun nod to Italy’s great fountains – it’s in yellow, of course. Plus, there will be live entertainment ranging from musicians to DJs.

Limonata in Riyadh comes from the same team behind Lucia’s in Dubai. If the Dubai restaurant, which is in Address Sky View, is anything to go by, it will have authentic Italian food at its heart. Lucia’s prides itself on its high-quality ingredients, fresh tastes and sustainable resources, and serves comforting pastas alongside classy caviar and oyster. Plus, Limonata is opening at Club Vista Mare, Dubai, but the date has not yet been confirmed.

Limonata in Riyadh will be open daily from 7pm to 2am. Grazie, Limonata.
