Taking place from 28 to 30 September, the inaugural Kingdom’s Melody Festival promises three days of musical magic while honouring Saudi Arabia’s vibrant musical heritage and the artists who have shaped it.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, the Kingdom Melody Festival will take you on a journey into the heart of Saudi Arabia’s cultural identity. The event will unfold at the Jeddah Superdome, an ideal setting to host this harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
In its debut edition, the Kingdom Melody Festival will pay homage to a remarkable group of Saudi composers. The opening night will be headlined by the renowned Mohammed Abdu, Omar Kadars and Abdel Rabb Idris. The second night features Abdulmajeed Abdullah with songs by Fawzi Mahsoun and Saleh Al-Shehri, and for the grand finale, Abadi Al-Johar will serenade the audience with melodies by Talal Bagher. And these are just a few of the big names performing at the festival.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. The Kingdom Melody Festival has an array of events lined up to keep you thoroughly engaged. The Send Love initiative will offer visitors a chance to express their admiration for their favourite composers. The Shelves of Melodies will feature a corridor adorned with shelves showcasing compositions from each maestro.
