21 Savage, Gunna, Metro Boomin and Wiz Khalifa will perform in Jeddah this January.


Saudi Arabia is turning up the volume. The Kingdom has welcomed international artists from around the world. Now, artists for Balad Beast 2025 have been announced, and include hip–hop heavyweiights Gunna, Metro Boomin and Wiz Khalifa.

Balad Beast 2025 runs from 30 to 31 January 2025 and brings together more than 70 artists. Old and new unite, as the event takes place across four stages, including courtyards, Souq Square and Roshn Square in a UNESCO World Heritage site. Hip-hop fans will be delighted to hear that there is a stage dedicated to the genre. Plus, it includes cool food stalls, art, and live music installations.


Who’s performing?

Day one sets the stage with Grammy-winning rapper 21 Savage, Atlanta sensation Gunna, lyricist JID, and the soulful Michael Kiwanuka. They’ll be joined by regional favourites like Disco Misr and local talents Camelphat, DISH DASH, Gazi, Saoud, and Varoo on Thursday, 30 January.

The excitement continues on day two, featuring hip-hop legend Wiz Khalifa and renowned producer Metro Boomin. The lineup also includes Lost Frequencies, the high-energy duo Hats & Klaps, Canadian pop artist Ghostly Kisses, and the trailblazing all-female Saudi rock band Seera, performing on January 31.

Gunna, real name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, was born in Georgia, United States. In 2018, he rose to fame with his mixtape, Drip Season 3 and Drip Harder. In 2019, he released his debut album Drip or Drown 2. His hits include Drip Too Hard with Lil Baby, Lemonade with Nav and Power with Drake. Plus, he has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

Metro Boomin — originally Leland Tyler Wayne — is a powerhouse in the world of music production. He started making tunes when he was a teen in the early 2010s, and by the time he was 19, his debut mixtape, 19 & Boomin, had already become a favourite. Since then, he’s collaborated with artists like Drake, 21 Savage and many others.

Wiz Khalifa hails from North Dakota, United States. He was born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, and his stage name “Khalifa” derives from the Arabic word for successor and wisdom. His grandad is a Muslim, and he gave him the nickname. His hit songs include See You Again.

General Admission tickets are priced at SAR 299 for a single night, granting access to either Thursday or Friday’s exciting lineup of performances. For those looking to experience both nights of entertainment, a two-night General Admission pass is available for SAR 499.
