Make your way to The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah for a culinary journey.
Saudi Arabia’s dining scene continues to welcome new culinary experiences. With names like Carbone, SUSHISAMBA and Zuma having already left their mark, foodies are constantly looking for more to savour. This time around, Akira Back is heading to Jeddah with a delicious pop-up.
Taking place until 28 February, the Akira Back pop-up will grace The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, inviting you to embark on a memorable meal crafted by Chef Akira Back. His creations promise a fusion of Japanese and Korean delicacies that are sure to leave you wanting more.
While details of what will be on the menu at Akira Back Jeddah have not yet been revealed, you can expect to see his signature dishes and fan favourites. Indulge in dishes such as the AB Tuna Pizza, Perfect Storm Sushi Roll, Miso Black Cod, Crab Fried Rice, Korean Fried Chicken, and much more.
This will be Akira Back’s first venture in Jeddah, but not in Saudi Arabia. Earlier this month, the chef unveiled Akira Back Riyadh at the 1364 Shopping Center in the Diplomatic Quarter. The capital’s outpost offers a modern Japanese dining experience with dishes inspired by the chef’s Korean heritage and travels. His other restaurants in the capital include Namu Korean BBQ and the upcoming AB Steak.
For those unversed, chef Akira Back was born in Seoul but raised in the US. Before stepping into the culinary world, he made waves as a professional snowboarder. Today, he runs over 28 restaurants across the world, blending Japanese flavours with Korean influences. Now with his pop-up in Jeddah, he’s poised to delight foodies.
With just three months of activation, tables at Akira Back Jeddah will be limited, so reserve your spot at The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah for the Akira Back pop-up and indulge in a culinary journey unlike any other.
