The latest addition to Jeddah Promenade opens on 25 May.

The Red Sea is home to exciting restaurants, from celebrity concepts to homegrown venues. Now, it is welcoming the Japanese restaurant, Ricci San to Jeddah. Located in Jeddah Promenade, the restaurant is scheduled to open on 25 May, and here’s what we know.

In Japanese, ricci is commonly used as a suffix meaning dear, mr and mrs. So the name translates to Dear Ricci. Ricci San brings together traditional techniques and modern innovation. Ricci San in Jeddah is sleek and sultry with a contemporary aesthetic. The décor boasts deep red sofas, separated sections, wooden features and Great Wave Off Kanagawa-inspired paintings on the wall.

Ricci San’s beverage menu includes carefully crafted mocktails. The drinks showcase Japanese flavours and include the Lemon Black, Mango Pine Blossom, Pine Kokonattsu and Sensous Ichigo. Each one is served in a fun and funky way, from bright colours to garnishes.
