The fine dining Japanese restaurant fuses Asian flavours.
We love supporting homegrown brands at FACT. So, we were thrilled to hear that a new restaurant has opened its doors in Jeddah. MiSora Jeddah is a fine dining Asian restaurant specialising in Japanese fusion food – and we can’t wait to dig out chopsticks into the concept.
MiSora means beautiful and hope in Japanese. Opening doors last weekend, this new restaurant is located on Prince Sultan Road in Jeddah. The menu includes specially crafted salads, dim sum, robata and wok dishes, all made with a regional twist that showcases fresh ingredients in a super fancy way. The dishes, from kitchen to table, embody the authentic traditions of Japan in both preparation and presentation.
MiSora’s Head Chef is the uber-talented Rafiq Abrahams. He made the move from Doha to Jeddah, for this new concept in Saudi Arabia. Spilling the beans on MiSora and what he hopes for the restaurants to achieve, he said: “I believe that the overall dining experience will be something that will keep locals coming back for more.” He added that he’s got a “few tricks up his sleeve” and only those who come to MiSora will be able to see what they are.
So grab your chopsticks and brace yourselves for an incredible journey at MiSora. We can’t wait to see what this fantastic restaurant has in store for Jeddah’s food scene.
MiSora isn’t the only cool kid on the block in Jeddah. Right around the same corner, you’ve got Guaka, a Mexican spot bringing the spice. There’s also Tokyo, Saudi Arabia’s first-ever Japanese joint, which has just opened its doors in this lively city. Needless to say, Jeddah’s serving up a feast, and we’re here for it.
