The institution will be located on Fayfa Avenue in Al Tahlia.
Cipriani is an institution. The brand is known across the world for its famous Venetian fine dining. The family motto is “to serve is to love”. Now, it is spreading that Cipriani love to Jeddah, and is scheduled to open at Fayfa Avenue in Al Tahlia.
Cipriani can already be found in Hittin in Riyadh, and has fans ranging from locals to expats. If the Riyadh venue is anything to go by, Jeddah is in for a culinary treat. The restaurant in the capital is a sleek spot with Murano glass chandeliers, terrazzo patterned floor and bespoke blue leather chairs.
We can expect Cipriani Jeddah to include the brand’s signature nautical colours, which range from blue sofas to white tablecloths. Plus, the menu prides itself on using simple ingredients to a high-quality standard, and offering signature dishes from Harry’s Bar in Venice.
The menu at Cipriani Jeddah is expected to feature the brand’s signatures, including Carpaccio “alla Cipriani”, Calf’s Liver “alla Veneziana” with Fried Polenta, Baked Tagliolin, Risotto “alla Primavera”, and Vanilla Meringue. And because the menu is anchored in Venetian favourites, produce and premium ingredients have been sourced from Italian farms, adding a sense of authenticity.
The Cipriani family opened their first venue in 1931, which was Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy. The venue attracted famous faces including Katherine Hepburn, Orson Welles and Ernest Hemmingway.
Today, the fine-dining Italian restaurant Cipriani has restaurants all over the world, from Miami to Monte Carlo. Cipriani can also be found in the Middle East. In the UAE it is located in DIFC, Dubai, Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi and West Bay in Doha. While the relaxed dessert branch, Cipriani Dolci, is located in Dubai’s The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, and Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall. Plus, it has hotels and residences around the world.
