The ship brings alive the beauty of Italy.  


It’s time to set sail with the Amerigo Vespucci. The historic ship is arriving in Jeddah, and hosting events and activities. Running from 26 to 30 January, Villaggio Italian is hosted by the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina in Ash Shati. 

Amerigo Vespucci has been on a journey across the world. It has already visited more than 30 ports including Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Singapore and Tokyo. Now, the beauty of Italy is brought to life in one of Jeddah’s vibrant waterfront locations. It’s a rare chance to visit the historic ship.

Each day at Amerigo Vespucci in Jeddah promises exciting, family-friendly events which are suitable for all ages. Explore Italian craftmanship, art exhibitions and food stalls at the Amerigo Vespucci ship. Exciting events are programmed, including a photographic exhibition called We Are Sea

The exhibition is dedicated to preserving marine biodiversity and showcasing the Italian coastal landscape. There will also be an Italian vegetable garden corner, which pays tribute to Mediterranean cuisine and traditional Italian flavours. A standout feature of the visit is the masterclass and tasting experience, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which has been organised by Veronafiere.  

Amerigo Vespucci in Jeddah

Experience the Italian architectural beauty of the ship, which is characterised by a glass and steel structure. The ship stretches 82 meters and features three decks. You’ll find a bronze figure of the Italian explorer, Amerigo Vespucci at the bow.

After visiting the ship, why not explore the Jeddah Yacht Club? The waterfront site is located by the marina and includes a walkway lined with restaurants. The concepts include Beverley Hills hotspot Crustacean, the Insta-friendly café EL&N, and Marina Social by Jason Atherton. Plus, FACT favourite Le Vesuvio.

Entrance to the Amerigo Vespucci in Jeddah is free, but reservations are required. On 27 January, the event runs from 3.30pm to 10pm. From 28 to 30 January, the event runs from 9am to 10pm.
