The talks are part of the National Museum of Saudi Arabia’s exhibition.

Add a bit of razzle dazzle to your day, and visit Van Cleef & Arpels: Time, Nature, Love at The National Museum of Saudi Arabia. The jewellery and watch exhibition is currently underway, and is holding special events this month.

Van Cleef & Arpels: Time, Nature, Love brings together 250 pieces of jewellery, watches and precious objects from the brand. Van Cleef & Arpels was founded in 1906, and this is the first time it has been exhibited in the Kingdom. The exhibition has been curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewellery Design at Milan Polytechnic University and President of the Milano Fashion Institute.

Now, visitors have a rare chance to join events, which bring these precious items to life. Experts are on hand to share the history and symbolism of the items. Flora In Jewellery Arts takes place on 15 March at 3pm and 17 March at 8pm. The Secrets of Sentimental Jewellery takes place on 14 March at 3pm and 16 March at 8pm.

Flora In Jewellery Arts explores how flowers have been used as a source of inspiration in jewellery design. The discussion will look at jewels as far back as the 17th century to the present day. The Secrets of Sentimental Jewellery explores how jewellery has been gifted to people through the ages. Plus, how jewellery is a symbol of love, from secret gifts to marriage items.

The Van Cleef & Arpels: Time, Nature, Love events are free to attend, but visitors must register in advance. The exhibition runs until 15 April and is open from Monday to Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 7pm; Thursday from 9am to 10pm; and Friday from 1pm to 10pm.
