Adriano Cattaneo begins his new role by introducing several new dishes to the LPM Riyadh menu.

The FACT Award-winning LPM Restaurant & Bar has today announced the appointment of Chef Adriano Cattaneo as Global Executive Chef.

The new position will see Cattaneo based in Dubai but overseeing the entire culinary program of the LPM group, which boasts restaurants in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Limassol, London, Miami and Riyadh. Whilst LPM’s new appointment does not plan on making drastic changes to the core French-Mediterranean menu, guests can expect to see new plates and seasonal dishes added to the menu throughout the year.

Chef Adriano’s professional career began in Paris, where he first gained experience at Michelin-starred restaurants such as Epicure, Le Meurice and Nomicos. Boasting over 17 years of experience in the world of food and beverage, the French talent most recently spent six years at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Hong Kong.

Speaking of his new role at LPM Restaurant & Bar, Chef Adriano commented: “I am thrilled to join the LPM family and continue building the culinary department from strength to strength. While my aim is to keep LPM’s menu authenticity the same, I will be introducing more seasonal options and specials for guests to enjoy throughout the year. I am passionate about recruiting young talent into my team, so that they evolve and grow with LPM, feeling a part of the company’s success. It is important that we take advantage of such eagerness, especially with the culinary scene evolving so quickly both in the Middle East and internationally. After 18 years working with some of the most accomplished chefs in the world, I am excited to take the next step in my career to help shape the future of LPM, an institution that I have always admired and loved.”

Whilst LPM in Dubai currently remains closed for renovations. Guests at LPM Riyadh can expect to see several new additions to the menu in the coming months, including king crab and tomato tart, artichoke hearts salad with truffle vinaigrette, homemade pecorino tortellini with truffle, and lemon tart with Italian meringue.

Nicolas Budzynski, Group Operations Director of LPM commented on the new hire: “We are very enthusiastic to welcome Adriano to the team and can’t wait to see him consistently evolve the menu while ensuring we stay true to the LPM concept; simple, and tasty food, freshly made to order, and unique to us. Hiring a celebrity chef is not our goal; our culinary identity should remain our focus, as this is what made us pioneers of the Dubai food scene for more than a decade. Professionals such as Chef Adriano are craving to create more and boast a fresh new way of thinking in the kitchen and managing their team.”
