The Saudi Arabian megaproject will be home to beach resorts and villas.
Neom is one of Saudi Arabia’s futuristic megaprojects. Now, the development has some luxurious news: the opening of three Marriot International hotels. Located on Sindalah island, the hotels include Saudi Arabia’s first Autograph Collection Hotels property, and two Luxury Collection properties.
Sindalah is situated in the Red Sea, off the northwest coast of the Kingdom. So far, we know that The Luxury Collection is scheduled to open in 2024, and that the experiences are rooted in authenticity.
The first Luxury Collection property is a beach resort with 70 rooms and suites, including one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom villas with private pools. The second Luxury Collection property is an all-suite site, and contains 115 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. Plus, both properties will be home to restaurants spanning different cuisines, and state-of-the-art leisure facilities.
The Autograph Collection Hotel is scheduled to open in 2024. The resort includes 66 rooms and suites, including one- and two-bedroom villas. Plus, multiple dining options, a kids club and a spa.
Chris Newman, Executive Director, Hotel Development at Neom, explained: “Marriott International offers one of the most compelling portfolios in the entire industry and enjoys a stellar reputation in the region. We are thrilled by the prospect of working together and look forward to building a hospitality experience that captures the spirit of Sindalah’s year-long appeal.”
Jerome Briet, Chief Development Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International, added: “Neom is one of the most highly-anticipated developments in the world. The Luxury Collection and Autograph Collection Hotels properties will express their own unique personality inspired by the exceptional natural landscapes of Neom.”
Neom’s Sindalah is situated in the Red Sea, and is an 840,000-square-meter island. The project aims to be an exclusive getaway and an escape from the hustle and bustle – there’ll be no cars and roads, after all. The island will boast a yacht club with an 86-berth marina and 5,920-metre golf course. As for those 38 restaurants, they will range from casual to fine dining.
Upon completion, Neom will be the size of Belgium and sits north of the Red Sea coastline. The exciting developments also include Oxagan, Sindalah’s beaches and seas, The Line and Trojena’s mountainous slopes.
We can’t wait to check-in.
