Here are the hip-hop A-listers coming to Riyadh.
Just when we thought we couldn’t get more excited about MDLBeast Soundstorm, it goes and adds big names to its already stellar line-up. The new additions include American hip-hop royalty Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Future, T.I. and Rick Ross.
MDLBeast Soundstorm 2022 runs from 1 to 3 December, and is in its third edition. Taking place on the outskirts of Riyadh, the festival is like the Glastonbury of the Middle East. Bringing together more than 200 performers, it’s your chance to catch local and international talent in the kingdom.
Riyadh is turning up the volume with its A-list line-up. The international hip-hop artists include one of the fastest rappers in the west, Busta Rhymes. Plus, What’s Luv? hitmaker Fat Joe; Mask Off rapper Future, Live Your Life rapper T.I., and Purple Lamborghini performer Rick Ross.
MDLBeast Soundstorm also added more Arab artists to the line-up including Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, Egyptian performer Mohamed Hamaki and Saudi’s very own Rabeh Saqer.
The megastars already announced include Bruno Mars, Post Malone and Wizkid. Plus, world-famous DJs include Carl Cox, DJ Snake, Marshmello and the return of David Guetta. Get ready for more surprises, as MDLBeast have teased us online stating: “DJ Khaled is bringing his friends to crank the temperature up”.
MDLBeast have created spin-offs across the region. MDLBeast Avaria is currently underway in Doha, as it runs from 21 November to 18 December. The line-up includes Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Hardwell, Rae Sremmurd, Tinie Tempah, and Tyga. MDLBeast Balad Beast in Jeddah runs from 9 to 10 December, and includes Busta Rhymes, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lupe Fiasco and DJ Premier.
The beast is definitely back.
