From Italy to the Red Sea, expect Michelin-starred cuisine in all its glory.
Neom is one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious megaprojects. The development aims to redefine luxury living and includes futuristic developments. Now, Sindalah Island has revealed the Sindalah Yacht Club. And while it promises to be a fancy spot, the real highlight is the upcoming restaurant by chef Enrico Bartolini in Neom.
Enrico Bartolini is a name that instantly grabs your attention. The chef, whose restaurants worldwide boast a collection of 13 MICHELIN stars, is bringing his magic to Sindalah Yacht Club. While the details of the restaurant’s name remain a closely guarded secret, we do know that it will serve some delectable Italian cuisine. From freshly made pasta to intricate seafood items, the dishes will likely be inspired by the Red Sea, with the chef’s signature flair.
The Sindalah Yacht Club is already being hailed as one of the hottest spots on the Red Sea. Designed by the world-renowned Italian maestro Stefano Ricci, this 1800-square-metre venue is his first-ever yacht club design, blending nature’s beauty with Italy’s artistic grandeur. You can expect a terrace pool, along with a lounge and many other elements, that will make this the go-to spot on Neom.
Inspired by the beauty of nature and the timeless elegance of Italian artistry, the interior design of the Sindalah Yacht Club exudes both grandeur and historical significance. The space showcases white Carrara marble, reflecting the island’s natural allure, while accents of “Sindalah Blue” – a bespoke colour created by Stefano Ricci to symbolise the island’s crystal-clear waters – shine against rich briar-root wood surfaces. Adding to the refined ambiance, the restaurant features a coffered ceiling and hand-woven textiles from Florence’s historic Antico Setificio Fiorentino.
Stefano Ricci, Founder and Chairman of STEFANO RICCI, said: “I entered the Sindalah Yacht Club project because I believe that NEOM is a visionary undertaking ahead of its time, like Florence which became the cradle of the Renaissance. It’s a beautiful jump into the future that recalls our mission. As a Florentine designer, I hope to have conveyed the fine stylistic balance that ideally unites these two worlds.”
In addition to an Enrico Bartolini restaurant in Neom, Sindalah is poised to be a top destination for foodies with a variety of dining experiences already in the works. OMEN by Beefbar is also expected to open, MDL Beast will launch a beach club, and both Atelier House Hospitality and Seven Management are on track to bring several dining destinations to the isolated island.
So prepare your palate for an Italian feast by Enrico Bartolini, served up in one of the world’s most exciting new destinations.
