Saudi Arabia is opening its arms to the world. The Kingdom is amping up its tourism game, transforming every corner into a must-see destination, and it’s also making it easier to come and explore. Riyadh Air — a new airline by Saudi Arabia — promises to do just that. And now, you get to peek inside this soon-to-soar marvel.
Set to take off later this year, Riyadh Air’s focus remains on digital innovation, design and luxury. It’s the world’s first digital-native airline, meaning that it promises a sleek and smart experience from the moment you step onboard.
Riyadh Air’s inaugural fleet of Boeing 787-9s will carry 290 passengers each, blending cutting-edge tech with classic Saudi elegance. Every cabin has been designed with luxury and traditional Saudi touches in mind. Expect indigo, sky blue and peachy hues that mimic Riyadh’s skyline and the desert.
Riyadh Air will feature four distinct cabins. Business Elite will feature four ultra-exclusive seats in the first row of the aircraft, followed by 24 Business Class seats, 39 Premium Economy Seats, and 223 Economy seats.
Business Elite and Business Class will be bathed in mocha gold and stone-like textures. They’ll feature 78-inch full-flat Safran Unity beds with tufted fabric, privacy doors and sliding dividers. A 32-inch screen — the biggest in Business Class, anywhere in the sky — will allow you to enjoy entertainment in the clouds, without the need for headphones, as speakers will be installed in your headrest for Business Elite passengers. Those in Business Class will enjoy the same benefits, but with a 22-inch screen instead.
Premium Economy offers plenty of room to stretch too. With head wings, calf rests, lots of storage, and 15.6-inch screens, you’ll be in for comfort. Even the Economy Class features a spacious setting with adjustable seating and headrests, all set within a lavender tone, setting the stage for a relaxing journey.
In addition to comfort and luxury, entertainment in Riyadh Air is also expected to be top-notch. Expect high-speed Wi-Fi, gaming and streaming of your favourite films and TV shows while you soar through the sky.
