This new route connects passengers to more areas across the capital.

Saudi Arabia is pulling out all the stops to ensure life in the Kingdom is as convenient as possible. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, there’s something for everyone to explore. In recent years, Riyadh has been at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s transformation and the launch of the Riyadh Metro has added yet another feather to the capital’s cap. Now, it’s inaugurated its final route, the Riyadh Metro Orange Line.

The Orange Line is the final route to open within the six-line Riyadh Metro network. Covering 41 kilometres, it stretches from Jeddah Road to the Second Eastern Ring Road near Khashm Al-Aan. Not only does it serve as an important link between different areas of the capital, but it also integrates seamlessly with other metro lines, providing more accessibility.

Riyadh Metro’s Orange Line will feature five stations: Jeddah Road Station, Tuwaiq Station, Douh Station, Harun Al Rashid Road Station, and Al Naseem Station. The Al-Naseem Station will also connect the Orange Line to the Purple Line, making transfers between routes smooth.

Apart from turning on the switch on the Orange Line, Riyadh Metro has also opened three new stations on the Blue Line. These include Al Murooj, Bank Al Bilad, and King Fahad Library. With these additions, the comprehensive network provides access to major areas of the capital.

As for the Riyadh Metro, it’s the largest metro system to be built in a single phase. With 176 kilometres of track across six routes and 85 stations, it aims to modernize the capital’s urban infrastructure while also preserving its cultural identity. So hop on board and experience Riyadh like never before.
