Red Sea megaproject update: Shura Island’s video unveils progress 

The island will be home to 11 world-class hotels.

Saudi Arabia is home to marvellous megaprojects. One of the Kingdom’s ambitious projects is The Red Sea project. A new video of Shura Island has been unveiled, and here’s what to expect. 

Red Sea Global’s Shura Island is currently under construction. The video shows the dazzling developments, which include 11 luxury hotels, a golf club, a marina with 118 berths, and beach clubs. The hotels include a range of brands, and the video shows the constructions soaring out of the sands. 

Hotels on Shura Island 

Faena The Red Sea is a renowned luxury hospitality brand loved by A-listers. The resort will boast 150 suites and villas, six restaurants, and The Living Room will offer entertainment. Fairmont The Red Sea is a golf lover’s paradise. The site features an 18-hole championship golf course, 200 rooms and seven restaurants.

Four Seasons The Red Sea is designed by the British architects Foster + Partners. The hotel will include 149 rooms and suites, each offering uninterrupted views of the pristine white beaches and crystal-clear blue waters. Plus, it will include a spa, hammam, tennis courts and three outdoor pools.

Grand Hyatt The Red Sea will include 430 rooms, a range of restaurants and bars, a marina and a golf course. InterContinental Resort Red Sea includes 210 rooms with sea views and direct beach access and seven restaurants serving cuisines from around the world.

Jumeirah The Red Sea will be home to 159 rooms, and it will offer the legendary Jumeirah hospitality. Wellness enthusiasts are in for a treat at Miraval The Red Sea. The focus is on balance and rejuvenation, and the highlight is The Life is Balance Spa.

Raffles The Red Sea is designed by Foster + Partners, and it will boast lavish rooms and suites. The site will include six restaurants showcasing diverse cuisines. Rosewood Red Sea includes 149 luxurious rooms and suites, three exquisite restaurants, two elegant lounges, and a Manor Club.

SLS Red Sea is poised to be the ultimate getaway destination. Encompassing an impressive 800,000 square feet, this expansive resort spans 150 exquisite rooms, 12 lavish suites and 15 luxurious villas. The Red Sea EDITION is set to be an uber-trendy hotel. The hotel will feature 240 rooms, ranging from one to three bedrooms. Plus, two restaurants, a bar, a beach club, a pool, and a spa.
