MDLBeast Soundstorm is turning up the volume, and welcoming the biggest stars from around the world. Now, the region’s biggest music festival has announced that the American superstar, Camila Cabello, will perform in Riyadh. She has joined the lineup on 14 December, and here’s how to get hold of tickets. 

Camila hails from Havana, Cuba. When she was six years old, she moved to Florida, United States. She shot to fame through the reality TV show, The X Factor and was originally part of the girl group, Fifth Harmony. The group’s hits included Summer, Work from Home and Work It. 

In 2016, she left Fifth Harmony, and in 2017, she launched a solo career. She is famous for her Latin-infused songs, which combine pop and R&B. Her hit songs include Havana, Never Be The Same and Senorita. She has collaborated with Drake, Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.

Over her career, she has won two Latin Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, and one Billboard Music Award. She has also moved from music to movies and starred as the title character in the film Cinderella. 

Camila is no stranger to Saudi Arabia. In November 2024, she joined a celebration of the Lebanese designer Elie Saab. The 1001 Season of Elie Saab took place at The Venue in Boulevard City. She joined a range of stars, including Celine Dion, Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez. Plus, she sang her hit song Havana, and updated the lyrics to include a nod to Saudi Arabia. 

MDLBeast Soundstorm is an annual music festival held in Riyadh. Now in its fifth edition, the event has become a permanent fixture of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment calendar. Year after year, it attracts the who’s who of international and regional artists.

This year’s lineup is already a star-studded affair featuring the likes of David Guetta, Eminem, Linkin Park and Tyler, The Creator — who will also be making his Saudi Arabia debut.
