The capital is about to get jazzy.

Riyadh, prepare to be swept away up in some soul-stirring melodies as Safar Nights brings China Moses to the capital. Set to take place on Tuesday, 27 February at the Fenaa Alawwal Centre in the Diplomatic Quarter, this one-night-only concert promises jazz and soul sounds.

With a genre-defying career spanning jazz, R&B, rock, and metal genres, China Moses effortlessly blurs the lines between musical labels, creating a sound that is uniquely her own.

Over the years, she has released several albums, each showcasing her exceptional talent and boundless creativity. Some of her notable hits include Breaking Point, Disconnected and Ugly Beauty. Her performances have earned her numerous awards and accolades, solidifying her status as one of the most influential voices in jazz.

This isn’t the first time jazz will grace the stage of Riyadh. Earlier this month, the inaugural Riyadh International Jazz Festival, featuring international acts like the legendary Chaka Khan, YolanDa Brown, and The Cat Empire took place. These global sensations performed alongside homegrown talents like Fulana and Majaz. And now, with China Moses set to take the stage, it’s crystal clear that the music scene in the Kingdom is becoming louder than ever.

As for Safar Nights, it’s an initiative by the Fenaa Alawwal Centre, which aims to celebrate cultural diversity and foster human connection through the universal language of music. Since its establishment in 2022, the centre has been a beacon of artistic expression, offering a plethora of cultural activities ranging from art exhibitions to workshops, seminars, and unforgettable musical performances like the one we’re about to witness with China Moses.
