The pizzas range from Buffalo Chicken to Truffle Mushroom.
Pizza fans, it’s time to grab a slice or three. 911 Pizza has opened in As Sulaimanyah, Riyadh. Located on Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaad Street, the casual contemporary spot specialises in Chicago-style pizzas. If you’re on the lookout for a new pizza place, here’s what you need to know.
911 Pizza draws its inspiration from America — hence the name. The team prides itself on the pizzas, which are reminiscent of Chicago’s pizzerias. While the world might know Chicago deep-dish pizzas with thick crusts, it’s also home to thin crusts. The tavern-style, party-cut pizza boasts a circular shape and a thin, crispy crust. The toppings are spread right to the edge, and the pizza is cut into squares rather than triangles.
911 Pizza’s food menu may be short, but it hits the comfort food spot. The pizza menu includes Buffalo Chicken, Margarita, Pepperoni and Jalapeño, and Truffle Mushroom. Starters include Chicken Wings, which come in twelve pieces.
The restaurant is a hip hangout. The exterior is blue and white and includes floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in lots of light. Guests can take their pick from black chairs and long red sofas, which are great for groups. The features include low-hanging steel lamps, wooden walls and potted plants.
On the wall, there are black-and-white photographs from the past and playful art. We spotted framed signs saying “I’m a Pizza Addict” and “Art is You.” Plus, a neon sign lit up stating 911.
911 Pizza is open daily from 4pm to 12.30am.
