Located in Al Mohammadiyyah, the café has pretty pastries and playful paintings.

Saudi Arabia, there’s a cool café that is causing a stir. Belmont Coffee has opened in Riyadh, and is located in Al Mohammadiyyah. If you can’t start your day without a cup or three of coffee – we’re not judging – then put this on your café hit list.

Belmont Coffee is a sleek and sophisticated space, which wouldn’t look out of place in Europe. Visitors can take their pick from indoor to outdoor seats, which look like they are taken from a Parisian street. Plus, there are seats indoors by the floor-to-ceiling windows and slogans like “where coffee is art’ on the walls.

The space is modern and minimalist with natural tones, from beige walls to wooden shelves and pretty plants. Look out for the uber-trendy design, which adds a touch of playfulness. We spotted paintings on the wall of coffee machines and Van Gogh, which were then spray painted over. Behind the counter, the shelves are lined with carefully places coffee pots and incense sticks. Plus, books on the shelves ranging from the history of Diriyah to Rolex watches.
