Riyadh, we have some delicious news. The new bistro Aykr has opened in the capital. Located in An Narjis, the menu showcases salads, sandwiches and sharing dishes. So, if you’re looking for a new restaurant, here’s why you should add it to your radar.
Aykr in Riyadh boasts a contemporary design, and floor to ceiling windows. The interior spans neutral tones from brown to beige, and it is punctuated by potted plants. We spotted black and white photos on the wall, and colourful vases, magazines and record players on the shelves. Guests can choose from indoor and outdoor seating, which ranges from tables for two to long banquettes.
Aykr in Riyadh’s menu spans appetisers, sharing dishes, beef bar and desserts. The appetisers include a Blooming Onion with horseradish, Burrata Salad with figs and balsamic dressing, and Chipotle Corn with battered fried and grilled corn. The sharing dishes include Chicken Tacos, Fish Tostadas, Grilled Shrimp Tostadas, and Short Rib Tacos.
The beef bar dishes include Brisket Brioche, Glazed Short Ribs, a House Burger, and a Steak Sandwich. Sandwiches range from brisket sando to chicken karaage sando. Desserts include a Baked Apple Tart, a Churros Swirl, and a Tableside Cheesecake. Plus, mocktails range from a Mango Mule with ginger, lime, and mango to a Passionfruit Marti with apple, lime, and passionfruit.
Aykr in Riyadh is open from Sunday to Thursday from 4pm to 1am, and Friday to Saturday from 4pm to 2am.
