Riyadh is welcoming some of the biggest restaurants around the world. Whether it’s big brands or celebrity chefs, the city is filled with new openings. Now, London’s Pahli Hill will be coming to the King Abdullah Financial District. So, if you love Indian food, here’s what you need to know.
Pahli Hill launched in London and prides itself on celebrating Indian food. Located in Fitzrovia, the venue is a vibrant spot with artwork on the walls, and colourful furniture as well as food.
If Pahli Hill’s London menu is anything to go by, then you’re in for a treat. The menus are a nod to regional classics and superb for sharing. Visitors can choose from a la carte, chef’s counter, early dinner set menu and Saturday lunch menu.
Pahli Hill’s a la carte menu spans small plates, big plates, tandoor and grill and sides. The small plates range from Crispy Khakhra to Mangalore Bun and Scottish Crab Sukkha. The big plates range from Paneer Butter Masala to Wild Sea Bass Steamed in Banana Leaf.
The tandoor and grill items include Chargrilled Cornish Lamb Rump, Pale Aubergine Bharta, and Tandoori Chalk Stream Trout. Plus, the dessert menu includes Carrot Halwa Vanilla Ice Cream, Dark Chocolate Coconut Cake, and Vanilla Rice Pudding.
KAFD is home to amazing restaurants, which range from A.O.K Kitchen to Il Baretto. New openings also include Mr Chow, SushiSamba and Zuma. Plus, the legendary Parisian bistro Benoit announced it would open in the area.
